The construction of a fully automatic backwash filter sewage treatment plant in Jiangsu Province has entered the “fast lane”. Up to now, all the cities above the county and the Taihu Lake Basin have built sewage treatment facilities. The daily sewage treatment capacity of urban sewage has reached 11.5 million tons, and the treatment scale ranks first in all provinces and cities in China.

 

In order to encourage local governments to increase pollution reduction, Jiangsu Province has started to increase investment in urban sewage treatment plants. On the basis of expanding central government's internal demand and increasing investment, Jiangsu Provincial Finance allocates more than 600 million yuan each year to subsidize urban sewage in Taihu Lake Basin. Handle the project construction, and arrange 30 million funds to continue to implement the construction of the sewage collection pipe network project in the Huaihe River Basin. At the same time, the sewage treatment fee standard has been raised twice, making the sewage treatment operation profitable, which has effectively promoted the marketization of urban sewage treatment plant construction, and stimulated various types of capital investment in the society to concentrate on sewage treatment and construction of the market. At present, 76% of the newly-built automatic backwash filter sewage treatment plant in Jiangsu Province has implemented BOT operation. The province has 380 urban sewage treatment plants with a daily sewage treatment capacity of 11.5 million tons, ranking first in the country. The urban sewage treatment rate of the province reached 86%.

 

In order to reduce the “re-extraction of oil and water” in the reduction of urban sewage treatment plants, the “Technical Guidelines for the Construction of Urban Wastewater Treatment Plants in Taihu Lake Basin of Jiangsu Province” was promulgated and implemented, and the urban sewage treatment plants were scientifically guided to “renovate the standards”. The project has achieved a series of internationally advanced and domestically leading scientific research results.

 

The market-oriented platform for urban automatic backwashing filter sewage treatment plant built in Jiangsu Province has effectively promoted the construction of urban sewage treatment plant “Dagan Fast Up” and led the construction of the national urban sewage treatment plant.
