Screen filters are the general term for broad filters, in contrast to linear gap filters, glass fiber filters, etc. It is an indispensable device on the medium transportation pipeline. It is usually installed at the inlet of pressure reducing valves, safety valves, constant pressure valves or other equipment to clean impurities in the medium and protect the normal use of valves and equipment. When the fluid enters the filter element with a filter screen of a certain size, its impurities are blocked, and the clean filtrate is discharged from the outlet of the filter. When cleaning is needed, simply remove the detachable filter element and reinstall it after processing. Therefore, it is very convenient to use and maintain.
Water enters the screen filter from the inlet. First, larger particles of impurities are filtered through the coarse filter core assembly and then reach the fine filter screen. After the small particle impurities are filtered through the fine filter screen, the clear water is discharged from the outlet. During the filtration process of the self-cleaning filter, impurities gradually accumulate in the inner layer of the fine filter screen, creating a pressure difference between the inner and outer sides of the filter screen. When the pressure difference of the screen filter reaches the preset value, the automatic cleaning process will begin: the drain valve opens, and the hydraulic motor chamber and hydraulic cylinder of the main pipeline assembly release pressure and discharge water. The pressure in the hydraulic motor chamber and the sewage suction pipe dropped sharply. Due to the negative pressure of the screen filter, the dirt on the inner wall of the fine filter screen is absorbed through the suction nozzle and flows into the hydraulic motor chamber through the water screen filter force motor, and is discharged through the drain valve, forming the process of sewage suction. When the water flow of the screen filter passes through the hydraulic motor, it drives the sewage suction pipe to rotate. The hydraulic cylinder piston drives the sewage suction pipe to move axially. The vacuum cleaner assembly thoroughly cleans the inner surface of the entire screen through the combination of axial and rotational movements. The entire cleaning process will last for tens of seconds. When the cleaning is completed, the drain valve closes. The increased water pressure will cause the piston of the hydraulic cylinder to return to its initial position, and the screen filter begins to prepare for the next flushing cycle. During the cleaning process, the filter worked normally without any interruption.
The scope of use and maintenance of screen filters:
The screen filter is suitable for irrigation of vegetables, fruit trees, greenhouses, flowers, tea gardens, green Spaces and farmlands. It is an essential irrigation product for the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, water and energy conservation, improvement of plant quality, enhancement of product grades, maintenance of ecological balance, and benefiting the country and the people. It can also be used for filtering and purifying industrial oils and chemical liquids. When installing and using the product, please read the product manual carefully to use it correctly and avoid losses and troubles caused by improper installation and use.
Instructions for the use and maintenance of screen filters:
1. Check whether the pressure gauge is working properly.
2. Check the pressure values of pressure gauge I and Pressure Gauge II. When the difference between the pressure values of the two pressure gauges exceeds 0.02GP, clean the filter screen. The cleaning method of the filter screen is as follows:
(1) Turn off the pump and stop water supply.
(2) Rotate the pressing handle, remove the filter cover and take out the filter screen.
(3) Clean the filter screen.
(4) Check the condition of the O-rings and gaskets.
(5) Installation in place.
(6) Conduct a boiling water pressure test to check for any leakage and observe whether the pressure gauge reading is normal.
When winter comes, drain the water from the filter to prevent corrosion.
4. During handling and transportation, collision and throwing should be avoided.
5. Regularly carry out anti-rust treatment on the surface of the filter.
